你比夏季更婉丽动人而又更亲切温存：
狂风老是把五月心爱的花蕾摇落了，
而夏令的租期始终又是短短的一瞬；
有时天空那只巨眼照得大地灼热逼人，
他金灿灿面色也常给云雾弄成灰蒙蒙；
每一种美呀终有一朝离开美而衰退，
是由于偶然或是由于自然界改变行程；
不过，你终古不息的夏天决不会消失掉，
你决不会失去你所拥有的倾国倾城，
“死神”也决不会自夸你在他幽影下蹀躞，
要是你生长在这些不朽诗行里与时间同春；
只要人类啊能够呼吸或眼睛能够看，
这诗能存多久，你就能享受多久的韶光。
